Thank you 2025!

Wow! What a year it's been!

I’m officially clocking off now - but before I do I wanted to say a massive, massive thank you 🙏.

As we start to wind down, I’ve been taking a little moment to pause, reflect - and honestly, feel incredibly grateful.

2025 was a big one. Big conversations. Big rooms. Big ambition. Big strategies.

And a lot of brilliant people trusting me with work that actually matters.

To every client, collaborator, partner, podcast guest, Mastermind member and late-night WhatsApp voice noter and Slack messenger - thank you. Truly. 🙏

This year, I:

💼 Partnered with 18+ leadership teams globally, from the 🇺🇸 USA to 🇨🇾 Cyprus, helping define and execute high-impact brand and growth strategies

🇬🇧 Travelled the length and breadth of the UK, running workshops and off-sites in London, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Bristol and more

✈️ Travelled for work internationally to Norway 🇳🇴, the USA 🇺🇸 and Cyprus 🇨🇾 with ambitious, fast-moving teams

💻 Delivered 70+ leadership workshops - virtual, in-person and deeply interactive

🎩 Hosted 22+ in-person offsites, helping leadership teams get clear, aligned and moving

🎙️ Was interviewed live on BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast

📢 Spoke at 10+ global business events, including sessions reaching audiences in Nigeria 🇳🇬, Ukraine 🇺🇦 and globally

🔥 Passed 20,000 LinkedIn connections (now nudging 24,000)

📧 Grew my email list to 6,000+ subscribers

🎖️ Continued as a LinkedIn Top Voice, receiving 17 new client recommendations

🎤 Co-hosted Season 6 of the award-winning JUST Branding Podcast with Jacob Cass - featuring legends like Marty Neumeier, Laura Ries, Mark Ritson and Rory Sutherland (and yes… we won another award 🏆)

👨‍🏫 Completed a Mini MBA in Brand Management

🗣️ Appeared as a guest on 6 business podcasts

📖 Wrote 11 articles and 2 ebooks on brand, leadership and strategy

🚀 Grew the LinkedIn BrandStorm newsletter to nearly 5,000 subscribers

⚽️ Personally coached 3 brilliant mentees, watching confidence and clarity click into place

👥 Grew the Matt Davies Mastermind to 70+ brand builders, with monthly sessions packed full of honest insight and practical progress

🤝 Continued close partnerships with Motto, plus projects with Thumbcorp, IKON and Newfound

📸 And yes… somehow managed 247 bearded selfies along the way 😄 (naturally!).

So, as I sign off for the year, I just want to say this:
