My toolkit
As a consultant it's my mission to improve the condition of my clients. I do this by cutting across typical business divides to get buy-in, co-create and produce strategy which works.
Workshops
Agile strategy workshops are a radical approach to strategy, branding and culture building. It’s an approach based on intense sprints and collaboration. An approach where steps simultaneously are attacked all at once by a multi-disciplined team - instead of sequentially by individual single disciplined teams.
The agile team “swarms” on the problem at hand, aligning, setting strategy, prototyping and working through solutions.
This dramatically speeds things up. By adopting a more collaborative approach to strategy, and working simultaneously, agile teams can make decisions and align fast.
I not only design agile workshop sessions but also run and facilitate them throughout projects.
Comms support
Communicating change passionately and with energy cannot be under estimated.
I support leadership teams to lead change from the front - presenting at all-hands, giving updates at town halls, hosting launches and running training sessions.
The goal: make sure the message lands, the vision is owned, and the change is driven with clarity, momentum and passion.
Design Thinking
I tend to find that anything that is not "designed" usually ends up an absolute mess. Design thinking makes things beautiful in a considered way that can be explained and replicated. For this reason, the principles of design are helpful tools to overcome business challenges and effect positive change.
Highly complex challenges involving the expertise or perspective of many stakeholders (including customers) can be solved by design thinking. It is a purposeful, designful way of solving any problem collaboratively. Combined with ‘Agile Strategy’ this powerful set of tools gets things done. And yes, I use a lot of post-its.
Research
I often find decisions can be made by leadership teams based on assumptions. The best way to make a good strategic decision though is from a position of knowledge.
I personally run interviews and create surveys for my clients so we can do just that.
Brand Strategy
Through research, workshops and clarity, I get everyone on the same page about what your brand stands for, how it’s positioned to win, how your offerings and portfolio are structured and how it shows up.
My work is then often used to manage change in an organisation and rally staff around an improved future.
Culture Change
I help to transform organisations inside out. I support leadership to define their ideal culture and then embed it into their organisations - working with HR and people leaders to ensure the employer brand, recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience (EX) all align with our strategy. The result? A brand that’s lived and felt, not just marketed and a stronger brand to recruit and retain talent.
